This is a really fun blog where you can get tons of great templates for your blog! I just picked one today for my other blog and it was so easy to do. I was very impressed by the amount of free backgrounds available so I will be excited to check out the launch party next week. If you add the linky button to your blog, you will be eligible for giveaways!

My mom is making a quilt with the "Strawberry Lemonade" fabric line that Me and My Sister Designs made for Moda. She has 5 inch squares of 39 of the fabrics in that line. She asked me if I had any ideas for what she could do with the fabric, and I decided to try out my Quilt-Pro 5 software and see what I could come up with. She wanted something simple that would highlight all of the cute fabrics in that line so that was a great first project for me to try with that software. After she approved the main design, I put together some different color combinations so she could pick from those. The top picture is the one she ended up choosing. It was really fun to use the software and I can definitely see myself making lots of different designs in the future. I can't wait to see how my mom's quilt turns out!

I got the Quilt-Pro 5 for Macintosh program this past summer and hadn't gotten a chance to really try it out until last night. My mom had some fabric that she wanted to make a quilt out of and I decided to try to design one for her. It took a little while for me to figure out the ins and outs of the program but after some trial and error, I had success! I thoroughly enjoyed using the program and am really impressed with all the capabilities it had. The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to what you can create with Quilt Pro 5. I look forward to playing around with it more and coming up with a library of my own quilt designs. I highly recommend this program to any quilters who like the idea of using their computer in a creative way to create something that is one of a kind.
