If you are quilter, you are aware of how much math goes into the designing and creation of a quilt. Even from the point of buying fabric, math is a large part of what we as quilters call our hobby. You may not want to admit it, and you may not even think you enjoy math, but I've noticed over the past few years that many quilters are math teachers and accounting types. I'm not an accountant but I deal with numbers during a majority of my day at work. And I find joy in the preciseness and order that comes with quilting.
