Happy New Year Fabric Giveaway

(comments are now closed.)
With 2010 coming to a close,
I want to do something fun for all my faithful blog readers and quilting friends.
I am hosting a giveaway and it's the biggest one yet!
 Drumroll please... :)
I am going to give away a package of **7 yards** of Dr. Seuss fabric from the Robert Kaufman "Cat in the Hat" and "Celebrate Seuss" Fabric lines!

There's something so enchanting about all the Dr. Seuss stories and characters.  From "The Cat in the Hat" to "Green Eggs and Ham" I grew up reading all the Dr. Seuss books.  I even remember eating green eggs and ham in one of my classes as an elementary school student.  So it brings back many fun memories to see all the characters printed so beautifully on fabric.

***HOW TO ENTER***
There are 3 opportunities to enter the giveaway

1. Leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite Dr. Seuss book or character is.

2.  Follow my blog and leave a comment letting me know that you follow.  (If you already follow, simply leave a comment letting me know that you do)

3. Blog about my giveaway on your blog and leave a comment to let me know you've done so.

***Entries will be open until 6pm Pacific Standard Time on New Year's Day 2011.  The winner will be chosen using a random number generator and will be posted before midnight New Year's Day.  Please make sure that there is a way for me to contact you (e-mail address, link to your blog) in case you win the prize!  Good luck and thanks for entering!

"The Cat In the Hat"

It was to wet to go out, to cold to play ball.
So we sat in the house and did nothing at all.

All we could do was to sit sit sit sit and we did not like it not one little bit.

Look on my left sidebar....thanks again!!

My son is 4 and we have been reading Dr. Seuss nightly for the past few weeks. He especially LOVES the "Grump" that stole Christmas (he's just beginning to read, so he's adamant that it's a Grump, not a Grinch) and Horton Hears a Who. I personally like the illustrations that Dr. Seuss does of the fish (from Cat in the Hat and others), but my favorite book at the moment is "Ten Apples Up on Top", because it's the only book my son reads to me! :)

Hiya. Don't know if we blog readers across the Pond can join in but I'm playing along even so.
I was going to say that my favourite Dr Suess story was The Sneetches but then I saw someone else mention The Foot Book. I read this to my daugter so many times we knew it off by heart. "Left foot, right foot, left foot, right..." lol
I would soooooooo love to make her a quilt using this fabric (but I'd also like one for me). Maybe a quilt for our camper van would be best then we could all share it.
I'm also following your blog now so (if you are OK to ship to England) that's a second entry.

I work in education so it's very hard for me to choose just one book. I won a Dr. Seuss mug once that I still cherish and drink my tea out of almost daily! I think though as a child my favorite book was "Go Dog Go" where the dogs have the party in the top of a tree. And...sliding in at second place is the "Green Eggs and Ham" book. If I am lucky enough to win this fabric I have decided to make a quilt to hang on the wall in our new library that is being built! And, if I can't hang it in the library due to fire regulations I will hold a raffle to raise money and have the students put in requests for new books for the library!
