Progress made on Hawaiian Quilt

I finished the top of the Hawaiian quilt I'm working on! I'm pretty excited about how it is turning out and will be even more excited once it's quilted. I plan to complete the basting phase tonight and move on to quilting tomorrow night.  I'm debating on quilting it with straight lines or diagonal lines, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with lines instead of free motion stitching. Okay. How cool are you?!?!? I love that blue surf boards print and the green is so fresh and bright! You have a crazy-good eye for this and that quilt just makes me feel happy!

I love it! I made my nephew a surfboard quilt (using different fabric) and it turned out so fun. Can't wait to see it finished!
