I don't know what Spring is because I live in a equatorial country - Singapore. I only know hot and rain. But I imagine it would be wearing shorts!

This Easter it has been walking the beautiful west coast beaches of Vancouver Island with my family and our 3 dogs.
My favorite spring activity is getting together with my older brother and his family, my family, my parent and my aunt and dyeing Easter eggs for my younger brother and his wife's two young children. We have so much fun.
My favorite spring activity would have to be playing out in the gorgeous weather with my son. Our summers are entirely too hot and winter is just too cold. :)

#1. I have been really sick for about 8 months. A combo of having a brain tumor and then a hurt sciatic nerve due to a unfortunate side effect from 1 of the many upon many tests I have had to get for the tumor. So I am confined to home for the most part. When spring came, I can actually now sit out on my back porch in a zero gravity chair and see the gorgeous flowers on the trees and smell the rain that is often in the air. I get to feel a little more human and alive this way:)

My favorite spring event is the Skagit Valley Tulip Festval! Beautiful fields of tulips as far as the eye can see -- so lovely!

My favorite spring event is watching the cows kick up their heels when they are let out to pasture for the first time in the spring...amazing how spunky they are and can move those large bodies so effortlessly when they are happy. The calves aren't quite sure what all the rucous is about, but they run and hop and jump all over too...pure happiness!

We don't have spring here in malaysia but I was very fortunate to experience spring when we were in the States early 80's. One event I remembered was when the Girl's Scout had an outing to see play. I cannot recall the details but it was a good memory with my mum and sister.

One of my favorite Spring activities is such a simple one. I love walking my daughter to school in the morning and listening to all the birds gossiping about the days events. They really can get quite loud, and I love it!

Can I tell you what is NOT my favorite spring event? The Cherry Blossom Festival in DC - too many people. I love the return of the songbirds to my birdfeeder in the spring.

My favorite spring activity is getting my fingers and toes in the fresh dirt and playing/planting my gardens! Although, there is also the playing outside with the kids that is a favorite, and standing outside after a fresh spring shower and breathing in, and so on... so I guess I don't just have one!
