Last weekend, I finished the baby quilt that my mom and I have been working on for the past couple weeks. It is for a brand new baby named Stella, but she doesn't know about it yet. :) It will be presented to her mom at a baby shower this weekend and we are hoping that she adores it as much as we do. My mom cut the fabric, designed the layout and pieced the quilt. I basted, quilted and added the binding and embroidery. It was truly a joint effort! I've gotten rather attached to this quilt so I took 49 pictures of it today before sending it off to it's new owner. While I won't make you look at all 49, here are 9 of my favorites. :)

What an adorable quilt and beautiful name. My neice is having a little girl in June, a little "Sophie" and I've been thinking about colors like you have in this quilt. We'll see what I come up with. Yours is so cute!!
It's a wonderful quilt' and I'm more than willing to change my name to Stella...........grin.
