Jennifer Chiaverini Book Giveaway

Calling all Jennifer Chiaverini fans out there! (I know there are a lot of you).  Her book, "The Giving Quilt" came out today in paperback and I'm hosting a giveaway to celebrate.  I have two copies of the book plus some super cute pins to give to two of my readers.  Here is some information from the publisher to whet your reading appetite:

"Thanksgiving inspires generosity once a year, but what happens to the spirit of giving on the other 364 days? In THE GIVING QUILT, now available in paperback from Plume, New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Chiaverini takes a page from her own life to deliver an emotional and poignant story very close to her heart. As a long-time member and advocate of Project Linus, an organization dedicated to providing handmade quilts and blankets to children in need, Jennifer decided to donate a very unique and special gift—a prime spot in one of her bestselling novels.

At Elm Creek Manor, the circle of quilters is hard at work preparing for “Quiltsgiving.” Held annually the week after Thanksgiving, expert and novice quilters from near and far gather for a special winter session of quilt camp to make pieces for Project Linus. As the week unfolds, the quilters respond to the question, “Why do you give?” in ways as varied as the life experiences that drew them to Elm Creek Manor. Each of the quilters, including a librarian, a teacher, a college student, and a quilt shop clerk, uses her unique talents to teach, inspire, and give back to her fellow campers.

With numerous New York Times bestsellers, Chiaverini is undoubtedly one of the masters of both modern and historical women’s fiction. Year after year, Chiaverini’s stories remain beloved by fans and praised by critics."

I have been recuperating from a concussion for a month and was on strict orders not to read. So DH started reading me A Single Thread by Marie Boswick. This book was the March read for the quilter's book club at http://starwoodquilter.blogspot.ca/
Unfortunately my DH went on a week long fishing trip last week and the book isn't finished!! I am starting to do some reading though - hence I'm on the computer - so maybe I'll just finish the book. But then DH won't get to know what happens...

To be completely honest, I can't remember the name of the last book i've read. I'm almost always reading something, everyday, blogs, magazines anything I can get my hands on. I've read a few books on my iPad with the Kindle app, unfortunately I don't remember which one. I do love Jennifer's books, I've read all but, the latest. Thanks so much of the generous giveaway. ;-> Toni Anne

My most recent finish, earlier today, was Janet Evanovich's Notorious Nineteen. A fun and relaxing change of pace. Next up is really-reading Bride of New France by Suzanne Desrochers for my next book club meeting.I can highly recommend The Giving Quilt especially if you are already a Jennifer Chiaverini fan. Thanks for the chance to win. The last book I finished was "Just Like Heaven" by Jane Quilan (and I'm just guessing on the name of the book and the author!) I always have several books going at one time--one in each vehicle, one by the tub, one in the living room, and now that I have a Kindle, one on that!

Thanks for the chance to win this book. I read a lot in the summer .... Sitting on the porch with a book is my outside activity. Last summer I read the whole George RR Martin A Song of Ice and Fire series ( Game of Thrones on HBO). I'm ready for some lighter reading soon!
